Our Veterinary Centre
For many years in Meadows our Veterinary Centre originally was the doctor’s surgery. Sadly the doctors closed their Meadows branch but then we purchased the property in 2005 with the idea of adding on a shed or similar at the back to give us the space we needed. However, a specialist designer of veterinary facilities showed us what we could create by incorporating the existing building into renovations and building on.
We encountered many difficulties both in the planning and building process but eventually the construction was completed late 2008 to provide a purpose built modern facility to enable us to provide the high standards of care and treatment we aim to give to our clients and their animals.
The grounds are fully fenced and provide plenty of easy parking for cars, horse floats and trucks. For horse owners there is no need to back as the car park was designed to drive around the building – so easy!
We have disabled human and pet parking close to the door plus a ramp if the steps need to be avoided. We have a lovely waiting area with a park bench under the trees for owners who prefer to wait outside with their pets. We are also next to the Meadows Park, which is wonderful for going for a walk or for children to have a play if waiting is necessary.
