Reception

At the Meadows Veterinary Centre, we believe in friendly, professional service and this begins in our spacious reception area.

A warm and caring welcome is always provided, whether you are waiting for a consultation, collecting your pet after surgery or have a general enquiry regarding pet or animal care.

Our records are fully computerised so files are easily retrieved, providing full medical records, including medications at the touch of a button (or two!).

Our weigh scales are located just in side our front door and are built into the floor so pets do not have to step up onto them. Many times pets are weighed without them even realising it! Our clients are more than welcome to come in at any time to weigh their pets and to get a treat too! (The lolly jar is always on the front counter – right next to the free liver treats!)

As the reception area is very large and leads into two consulting rooms we are able to separate cats and dogs as well as any rowdier patients to maintain a calm environment.

Premium pet foods, treats, grooming products, food additives, wound care, beds, coats, collars and leads and toys are all on display and available for purchase. Any item required but not on display can be ordered as delivery usually only takes 1-2 days.

With our plasma screen we are able to show client educational DVDs or provide entertainment for children! We also have a huge range of product information pamphlets and handouts on all aspects of pet and animal care.
