Surgical Theatre

All sterile surgery and major surgical procedures are performed in our Surgical Theatre. This specially designed surgical facility is fully self-contained with a positive pressure ventilation system to ensure top levels of hygiene and sterility.

This theatre also contains an x-ray viewer which is essential during our more involved orthopedic cases.  Pass-through cupboards from the preparation area ensure we have everything we need within easy reach.

We have the latest in monitoring equipment and use the latest and safest of the anesthetic drugs that are available. We have fully trained surgical nurses who assist in monitoring all patients.

We regularly perform procedures such as bone pinning, fracture repairs, caesarian sections, cruciate ligament repairs and many intestinal operations as well as lump removals. All of our desexing is also done here as although these operations are perceived as being relatively routine, a sterile environment is still essential to provide the best recovery for your pet.
