Treatment Area
The Treatment Room is the centre of all activity. Here is where most of the non-sterile procedures such as dental work and ear flushing etc are carried out. This area also contains our Intensive Care and recovery cages. These cages have access to the latest in monitoring equipment, automatic intravenous drip pumps as well as oxygen lines. Being in this central area means that the patients are under observation at all times, essential for patients recovering from an anaesthetic or requiring intensive care.
Also in the treatment area is the work station where our veterinary nurses clean, pack and sterilize, via an autoclave, the surgical instrument packs. The scrub sink used by the surgeons to prepare for these procedures are also in this area.
