Senior Animal Care

Older animals (aged 7 years and over), often need a little more TLC to keep them healthy and happy. 

At Meadows Veterinary Centre we love helping our seniors live happy, healthy and comfortable lives. 

Older animals often have increased risk of medical problems (heart disease, lumps and bumps, hormonal problems), have different dietary requirements, are prone to mobility issues associated with arthritis, have increased risk of dental disease and can sometimes have behaviour issues associated with cognitive decline. 

The good news is, there is plenty we can do to help your much loved senior to keep living their best lives in comfort and health.
